URBAN THEORY
I became an Architect in order to have an active role in the development of mankind as a species. On my trajectory on this planet, I wish to do honors to the great urbanists Buckminster Fuller, LeCorbusier, Rem Koolhaas, and Ken Yeang. It will take my whole life to develop these evolving ideas.
In short, my ideas are theorized in 3 basic channels:
ILL Urbanism: The Cure for Metropolitan Decay
As cities continue to evolve, we have reached a critical point in the sense that we are aware of on-coming changes in weather, migration, and business- yet there is a general sentiment that we are unprepared for these social catalysts. ILL Urbanism is an investigation for ecological permanence and economic prosperity. By developing synergetic strategies to ensure a steady growth which benefits active citizens directly, ILL Urbanism is applicable to all urban/rural areas/markets of the world. It is an adaptive concept designed to complement contemporary situations with futuristic preparation.

Towards a Global Architecture
In the tradition of LeCorbusier's book Vers une Architecture, this theory is based on how to create a functional design for our global culture. For hundreds of years there has been global communication (almost exclusively through war and then commerce or vice versa), but only recently has it become instantly accessible by all. This will undoubitably affect our architecture and mankind as a species, since our design is a representation of the mind, body, and spirit through our cognitive evolution.

Redesign Everything
The downfall of technology is that it becomes obselete. Something as simple as updating a motor can result in huge energy savings for an appliance. We are now at an interesting period of world "crisis" where we have the opportunity to evaluate our world culture's current position, act upon it, and either survive or perish... While this sounds like a lot of stress, it is not the first time mankind's future is in jeapordy. We as a species have faced many trials and have survived until now thanks to our ability to adapt. We must now decide what works, and what does not. We must Redesign Everything in the sense that we can improve the tools and toys that we have in order to ensure we have them in the future.

The Urban Farm Project
The Urban Farm Project is the title for my thesis project, but it is more so what has been on my mind since I graduated in 2008. It is a concept of a hydroponic high-rise for agricultural production for food consumption and energy production. This concept has since evolved into different scale of aplications from residential accesories, to autonomous appartments to metropolitan power plants. The jist of it: waste goes in, clean comes out.
